DESCRIPTION:

First Financial Group seeks a talented Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator to join our offices in Bethesda, MD on a HYBRID work schedule. The position will involve working as part of an experienced Marketing Department supporting a multi-state Financial Services Firm with the strategic growth and execution of its social media presence. As the Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator, you will collaborate with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager in creating and placing social media content across various approved channels. With an emphasis on writing and design skills, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and curating new and third party content to help grow the Firm’s brand awareness and community engagement.

Responsibilities*:

  • Creating and implementing social media content that resonates with diverse audiences while maintaining the firm’s voice and relatability.
  • Designing templates and customized messaging for all brands operating under the firm’s umbrella.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Department to develop and maintain a monthly content calendar focused on continually strengthening the firm’s brand strategy.
  • Tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics while monitoring audience engagement.
  • Facilitating day-to-day social media support across the entire firm.
  • Identifying new opportunities for community engagement and growth along all social media channels.
  • Staying current with new social media platforms, trends, best practices, and policies.
  • Coordinating on various marketing, design, and copywriting projects, as needed.

Note: This is a HYBRID position with flexible REMOTE options available.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of social media content creation and account management experience for a corporate/professional organization; candidates will be asked to provide a Design/Content Portfolio highlighting your past work.
  • Expertise in utilizing platforms including Facebook, Twitter/X, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Proven design skills and experience working in Canva and/or Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Comfortable working with statistics and interpreting data to develop and implement metrics for measuring the impact of social media initiatives.
  • Skilled in utilizing a variety of social publishing, listening, and reporting tools.
  • General understanding of news media, business, and journalistic environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for proofreading and grammar.
  • Outstanding knack for storytelling and crafting engaging content.
  • Proficient at managing concurrent tasks with strong organizational and time management skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Compensation: Base Salary (commensurate with experience).
