Summary
The Healthcare Product Consultant/Salesperson is responsible for selling our products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales/product presentations and matching the customer needs with the product. He or she will reach business targets through the use of excellent sales and communications skills. Calling on; schools, hospitals, fire departments, cities (for their paramedic teams etc), first aid trainers and resellers you will aggressively promote a well-respected line of healthcare teaching aids.
The Healthcare Product Consultant/Salesperson will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories, attendance at pre-approved tradeshows/conferences and physical visits to customer sites to provide product presentations. This position will have a strong focus on consultative selling and presenting solutions that enrich the learning process and personally connecting with your customer base. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of service to existing customers by managing the customer relationship
- Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue via tradeshows, school visits, cold calling, etc.
- Overcome objections of prospective customers
- Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s) while meeting with new or existing clients
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
- Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly and adhoc reports as required
- Participate in company wide marketing initiatives
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Performs other duties as required
- Assist in product selection and related marketing material production decisions
- Assist in the creation and implementation of e-marketing campaigns
Requirements
- College or University Degree in Healthcare or relevant work experience is preferred
- 80-90% of time will be spent travelling for sales calls – overnight travel will be required
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
- Solid sales experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills
- Experience in Healthcare field.
- Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook. As well as the ability to utilize company software and databases to perform essential duties of this position

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
- In possession of a reliable vehicle, no older than 6 years and to be maintained in a manner that clients can be driven in (if necessary). The vehicle must also be capable of transporting several boxes and marketing material to display at shows as needed.

- Valid Passport
- Experience with Sales Force is considered an asset or other CRM products
Work Conditions
- Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
