Account Manager, Sales Trainee

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Conduct presentations and effectively promote company products and services to both existing and prospective clients, with the aim of driving profitable growth and increasing gross profit
  • Cultivate and nurture robust strategic relationships with key clients to ensure long term partnerships and mutual success
  • Act as a professional representative of the company during all customer interactions, fostering strong business partnerships and upholding the company's brand image
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal resources within Millcraft, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to meet client needs
  • Provide comprehensive support, guidance, and direction to Customer Services Representatives regarding customer requirements, including order specifications, pricing, and quality standards
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels such as prospecting, lead generation, trade shows, networking, and social media engagement
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback through Voice of Customer activities, offering valuable insights to relevant stakeholders and driving continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales related data, regularly updating business opportunities and providing timely reports as requested
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and price quotations using various formats, including PowerPoint, to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses meticulously, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Oversee account inventory, including stock holdings and receivables, to optimize cash flow and capacity utilization.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across different functional units within the organization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively contribute to the development of actionable and value-added solutions, providing feedback and suggestions to improve sales practices and processes.

  • Proven track record of creating, refining, and formatting written materials to a presentation ready standard, ensuring aesthetic appeal and maximum effectiveness

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • 4 year degree with an emphasis in Business or related field preferred
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
  • Travel is required
  • Must meet the physical demands inherent to the role
  • Work environments range from office settings to customer sites, occasionally exposing individuals to noisy environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is moderately quiet to moderately noisy. Work is performed in an office environment or outside the office with existing or potential customers, employees or others. Within the office, floors are both carpeted and tiled. Occasional interaction may occur within the Operations environment wherein noise is moderate to loud and floors are generally concrete. Temperature is moderated by heat in the winter and air conditioning or air circulation methods in the summer.
