Corporate Director of Business Development - Skilled Nursing Facilities - Assisted Living Facilities- Independent Living Facility-We are a corporate company in which we manage 5 skilled nursing facilities, 3 assisted living facilities, and 1 independent living facility. We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing. This individual must be able to represent themselves and our company in a positive and professional manner to prospective residents, family members, hospital personnel and the communities in Texas. We are looking for an individual that has specific experience as a Director of Marketing or Business Development with Skilled Nursing. Must have Marketing experience in Skilled Nursing. Must be local to the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Business Development and Admissions Directors of our 5 Skilld Nursing Facilities

• Continue to develop strong relationships with key referral hospital personnel, educate on offered services, and identify new opportunities for partnering and growth in order to increase referrals.

  • Responsible for generating and managing leads and converting business in primary referral hospitals.
  • Ability to manage a personal set of accounts and contacts with key referral sources and complete daily rounds in designated hospitals, obtaining new inquiries and evaluating patient's individual care needs prior to admission
  • Make outside sales calls to hospital social workers, physicians, hospital discharge planners and administrators, to understand the need for program services and to communicate services offered which meet those needs to obtain referrals of patients with the goal of developing new business.
  • Meet or exceed targeted referral, admission, and conversion goals to achieve budgeted occupancy.
  • Follow up on facility readmissions to the hospital, and perform assessments as needed and ensure patient returns to our center.
  • Facilitate smooth discharge process transitioning from a hospital setting to our facility.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with Company policies involving all safety and infection control procedures.
  • Understand, comply with and promote all rules and regulations regarding residents’ rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years as a Corporate Admissions/Marketing Director or Admissions/ Marketing Director with Skilled Nursing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Previous health care community relations experience.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, reimbursement program from payer sources.
  • Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form. Competitive compensation package Annual salary up to $180k and up depending on experience.
