About this opportunity
Leading new and expanding existing Business Development opportunities for the US business focusing on third-party industry partners, GPOs, and other emerging market alternative DSO models. This includes strategic sales, marketing, operations, and leading company priorities. This role will collaborate with leadership, key opinion leaders and influencers within these organizations, and will lead strategy development and coordination with internal cross-functional and field sales teams. They will provide dedicated support to these partners through a custom resource build to help drive mutual growth.

The ideal candidate needs to be highly organized, self-motivated, an excellent multi-tasker, have superior communication skills, and the ability to keep internal and external teams on task while also maintaining great relationships with cross-functional partners. This role ensures that all partnerships, programs, and projects deliver desirable outcomes to our organization, ultimately resulting in Invisalign case lift and iTero sales to transform more smiles and change more lives.

In this role, you will…
  • Lead partnerships, strategic projects and programs that require cross-functional engagement with key teams across the organization, and with external stakeholders.
  • Immerses partners with strategic and cross functional support for mutual growth.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement programs/plans designed to increase existing business and capture new business.
  • Drive programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or other department members.
  • Leads and organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication, facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Leads projects that span the US market, as well as various channels.
  • Works in conjunction with the Director of Strategic Partners in the US to pursue and achieve tactical or strategic objectives pertaining to the long-term strategic vision assisting in the execution of work necessary to meet short term objectives as well.
  • Identifies and develops proposed action strategies in support of Align’s efforts to advance company interests relative to identified trends, emerging issues, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develops comprehensive business plans, evaluating new business opportunities for investment by the organization.
  • Travel and be in customer facing environments est. 50% of role

In this role, you’ll need …
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent discipline.
  • 6+ years in sales; marketing; experience in business development a plus.
  • Strong business acumen, judgment, and maturity; strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Previous product management and new product development experience.
  • Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage budget and resources.
  • Demonstrated strong process orientation; organization and project management skills to handle multiple projects and manage timelines.
  • A goal-oriented individual who operates on a high sense-of-urgency.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer/business needs.
  • A self-confident, proactive, decisive leader.
  • Excellent team contributor and cross functional relationship manager.
  • Thorough knowledge of the market and a passion for the products and services that Align Technology provides.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks / projects.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in building/creating business cases; assessing organizational impact and presenting value to the organization.
