We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Sales Manager to join our team and drive our growth.

Job Description: As a Business Development / Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Canada and the US.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of flat decks and step decks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Salary:

  • Competitive salary based on experience. This will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

  • Business development: 2 years (required)
