We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Sales Manager to join our team and drive our growth.
Job Description: As a Business Development / Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Canada and the US.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of flat decks and step decks is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Salary:
- Competitive salary based on experience. This will be discussed during the interview process.
