Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Janitorial Account Manager to join our team on a commission-based compensation structure. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in account management who thrives in a performance-driven environment. As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental in growing our client base, negotiating and securing new janitorial service accounts, and building long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, engaging in consultative sales conversations, and tailoring proposals to meet the unique needs of each business. Your ability to connect with clients, understand their pain points, and deliver effective solutions will be key to your success. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to contract negotiations and ongoing account oversight. Once an account is secured, you will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring that our high standards of service are met and addressing any client concerns proactively.

This is a commission-based position with an attractive earning potential that directly rewards performance. You will earn a percentage of each account's revenue, with residual commissions on long-term client renewals and quarterly bonuses available for meeting and exceeding targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and finalize contract terms with prospective clients.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction.

Work Environment and Expectations:

As a Janitorial Account Manager, you’ll benefit from a flexible, autonomous work environment that allows you to operate remotely, using your computer or phone to communicate with clients, manage accounts, and drive new business. Much of your work can be completed from home, as many clients will provide essential information, including building measurements and specific requirements for the scope of work. This setup allows you to create detailed proposals without requiring an in-person visit for each account.

However, in cases where a client is unsure of their building’s measurements or lacks specific details about the scope of work, you’ll be expected to conduct an on-site survey to accurately assess their needs. This may include measuring spaces, evaluating specific cleaning or maintenance needs, and consulting with the client to understand their unique requirements. These on-site assessments ensure the service proposal is tailored precisely to each client’s environment.

This role provides the autonomy to set your schedule, manage client interactions at convenient times, and balance remote work with occasional site visits.
