We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated, and positive individual with experience in the Customer Service field to join our Team. The right candidate will provide excellent and knowledgeable customer service as First Point of Contact (FPOC) in handling quotes, orders, sample requests and email/telephone inquiries from customers and sales professionals from across the country. Our office is located in Butler Wisconsin just minutes from Milwaukee. Starting rate $18-$20/hr,

WHAT WOULD MY DAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?

  • Provides accurate and timely product, price, and delivery information on stock and custom products.
  • Processes stock orders, custom orders, sample, and quote requests accurately and quickly in multiple systems while communicating with stakeholders on a continuous basis.
  • Works cohesively and consults with sales, office, and operations team members within the organization, as well as customers, vendors and contractors as needed on projects, technical specifications, and deadlines.
  • Works directly with various Sales Reps and proactively with customers to generate sales growth from a portfolio of accounts by identifying customer current/future needs, up-selling, cross-selling and following up on quotes to turn these to orders.
  • Work to build/strengthen relationships and to go above and beyond requirements to improve the customer experience by understanding/clarifying expectations, taking ownership & initiative, demonstrating leadership, challenging the status quo, and resolving any customer objections through sound analysis, problem solving and decisiveness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-Secondary Education preferred.
  • Strong interest in customer service or inside sales function; 5+ years’ previous experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven strong computer skills especially with ERP systems; desire strong Microsoft Office suite skills with typing skills of 40-50 wpm. (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Proven listening and strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate requests and actions in a concise, clear, and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and retain various product, quote, order, and manufacturing information/processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently and make informed/sound decisions apart from direct supervision after training in a team-based environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous call center/customer support experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of the various capabilities of both envelope and label machines.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of printing, papers and postal specifications.
