Job Description
Here’s what you’d do:
As the primary contact for your clients, you’d build lasting relationships that drive satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for additional services. You’d oversee field operations and manage a Production Manager, who works directly with the crew to deliver outstanding service in the field.
You’d be responsible for:
Client Satisfaction:
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Conducting site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality standards and service expectations are met
- Resolving client concerns proactively to encourage contract renewals
Sales:
- Presenting site enhancement ideas to clients to continually add value
- Generating client referrals and passing them along to the Business Development
- Creating accurate estimates for new and existing clients while maintaining target gross margins to support company financial goals
Operations:
- Assisting in the overall leadership of the branch
- Maintaining acceptable accounts receivable levels
- Working closely with the Administration to keep client information current and accurate
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in account management within the commercial landscaping or service-oriented industry
- Strong budget management skills and the ability to analyze project financials
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to manage client inquiries and internal coordination
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing client accounts and supporting project teams
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting reports and documentation for project updates
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated professionalism in all client and team interactions
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, or schedule)
- Flexibility to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry
- An associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
