Engraving Production Associate

Job Description

Seeking a LASER ENGRAVER/ETCHER Production Associate. Must have engraving and/or computer graphics experience with Corel Draw and/or Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of awards business, plastics or inside sales a plus. Must be a positive & professional team player.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical aptitude and creativity
• Knowledgeable in working with various types of engraving equipment, wood and/or plastic materials
• High level of professionalism
• Must have regular and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to make quick and logical decisions
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to team play and work within parameters of system

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The following physical requirements are necessary to meet this job description:

• Standing up to eight hours
• Able to lift maximum weight of 50 pound (vertically)
• Able to lift maximum weight of 25 pounds (horizontally)
• Able to carry the above described weights a maximum distance of 100 feet
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret written material, job specific procedures, and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and the general public.
• Regularly required to talk with or listen to others.
• Frequently required to sit and use hands to handle/feel objects, tools or controls.
• Required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• Vision requirements include depth perception, ability to see peripherally and ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
