Position Overview

The Manager, IT Infrastructure will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, as well as managing and optimizing cloud services. This role requires a strong understanding of network architecture, cloud platforms, and the ability to ensure the reliability and security of our systems. You will provide oversight of our cloud-based architecture and security infrastructure and have worked in a Microsoft Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the onboarding of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary network and infrastructure access.
Plan, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and services.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of network and cloud services.
Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, expansion projects, and technology migrations as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
Monitor network performance, identify issues, and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Manage, optimize, and secure cloud resources on MS Azure platforms.
Configure and maintain virtual machines, containers, storage, and other cloud-based services.
Monitor cloud performance and costs to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies.
Keep records of changes and updates to network and infrastructure components.
Provide technical support to end-users for network and infrastructure-related issues.
Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level firewalls, specifically with Cisco and Palo Alto devices. Experience with creating and implementing security policies, network segmentation, VPN configurations, and access control lists.
Skilled in utilizing network management dashboards for monitoring and analyzing network performance, traffic, and security events. Experience with configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols on Cisco devices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure and cloud administration.
Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, are a plus.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management best practices.
Proficiency in network and cloud monitoring tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
