We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Security Consultant to join our team at Lead Star Security, Inc. As a Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of our company and the services offered.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesperson, consultant, or similar role in the security industry or relevant field.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of the contract security industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, FreshSales) for managing leads, contacts, and sales pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce and other related programs.
- Problem-solving, forecasting, and organizational skills.
- Experience communicating with executives, business owners and/or HNWI is a plus.
- Experience working in the physical security industry and managing guards/vendors is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and update information regularly.
- Develop and execute strategic sales campaigns to generate leads and meet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach campaigns, social media, cold calling, and referrals.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services based on their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement to close sales and maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Operations, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to our clients in areas of organizational risk management, including risk consulting, guard services and investigations.
- Account management, ensuring existing accounts are well-maintained, and also ensuring they consider us their go-to trusted advisor for all security needs.
- Respond to short notice opportunities, as well as support Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
- Develop strong relationships with local/federal law enforcement within Region, participate in partnership programs where available.
