Transor Filter is a global company that produces and sells micron-level industrial filtration systems with cutting edge technologies for the manufacturing and machining industries. We have five production facilities around the world including Sweden, Germany, USA, China, and India, as well as over 30 sales and service offices in many more places.
Here at Transor Filter USA we’ve just moved into a new and full functional facility in Arlington Heights, IL, about 15 minutes away from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Currently we have an immediate opening for Sales Engineer/Sales Manager position at Arlington Heights, IL office.
Job Responsibilities
- Sell, promote and market Transor’s ONE-Micron filtration product and technology to machine tool industries.
- Provide technical and application assistance to customers in order to influence their decision-making process.
- Develop and manage sales plans to increase sales effectiveness. Develop new business along with maintaining and further developing existing business partners.
- Proactively seek out purchasing decision makers and develop solid business relationships.
- Deliver successful collaboration efforts by presenting highlights of Transor products and service capabilities throughout our company.
- Effectively engage and assist in negotiating contract terms with customers.
- Explore opportunities to sell additional Transor products to existing customer base to increase value of customer/vendor relationships.
- Promote Facility/Corporate visits with strategically important customers and business partners.
- Attend trade shows, product shows and industry functions as required to keep informed on activities and changes in the machine tool market place.
- Frequent travel (up to 50%) required. Working at office while not traveling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required.
- Team player, work well with others and independently. Minimal supervision needed.
- Problem solving skills and analytical ability required.
- Skillful in using Microsoft Windows WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, and other basic software.
- Must be willing to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar software experience desired.
