RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
UW Information Technology (UW-IT) is the central information technology organization for the University of Washington, responsible for strategic planning, oversight, and direction of the UW’s IT infrastructure, resources, and services. UW-IT provides critical technology support to all three campuses, UW Medicine, and research operations around the world, partnering with the UW community to enable innovation, learning, discovery, and service."
The Relationship Manager at UW-IT within the Communications & Engagement Unit is a key enabler and facilitator in the creation and sustainment of collaborative partnerships. This position establishes and maintains relationships with external partners across the University of Washington in various administrative and academic departments, external partner-vendors, and myriad stakeholders. They focus on establishing relationships and building trust in order to create positive spaces to align strategic objectives with the University of Washington Information Technology organization. By strategically engaging with these entities, the Relationship Manager aims to enhance the overall effectiveness of UW-IT's operations, enable two way information sharing regarding technology plans/processes/systems, contribute to innovative solutions, and foster an ecosystem where shared goals lead to mutual success. This role is a force multiplier in how information technology professionals across the University collectively envision future success.
This position involves critical and timely relationship building and engagement activities, and the incumbent will have a deep understanding of technology trends, the ability to align partner capabilities with the University's mission, and the strategic acumen to drive collaborative initiatives. The Relationship Manager is instrumental in ensuring that the University remains at the forefront of technological advancements by leveraging external partnerships to their fullest potential.

Hybrid, open office environment, two to three days in the office required per week
