Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in procurement strategies, tactics, processes, procedures, and systems.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Collaborating with other Strategy and Sourcing staff and Procurement leadership to provide a consistent and comprehensive procurement process; - Performing sourcing project activities in accordance with Firm guidelines and compliance with arm's length, transparent, and fair bidding processes; - Interacting with managers from Finance, US IT, Internal Firm Services, and the business units to identify requirements, coordinate supplier selection, and implement management strategies; - Engaging with department leadership, customer groups, and supplier organizations regarding purchase decisions and support creation or delivery of status presentations on sourcing projects with routine to medium complexity, visibility, and impact; - Conducting routine to medium complexity sourcing projects or RFx's (Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI)) with the potential for global, cluster, and local territory impact; - Supporting RFx's and contracts drafting, negotiations, and renegotiations of agreements with selected suppliers; - Supporting implementation of strategies for procurement categories and related subcategories; - Preparing, organizing, and supporting structured supplier negotiations to achieve optimum cost and concessions; - Applying commodity knowledge and commercial contracts specialization to negotiate and prepare sound, favorable contracts that preserve the Firm's position; - Gathering and developing documentation of customer requirements and specifications; - Demonstrating and applying necessary negotiation skills at various levels internally and in the supplier community; - Supporting the daily operations of PwC’s travel and meetings programs; - Understanding and utilizing best practice methods and measures to establish that the optimum balance of cost and quality is achieved in all contracts; and, - Teaming with Operations, Methods and Tools team to establish best practice protocols are being followed.
