Nature Environmental is a fast-paced, growing waste management company. We’re located near Houston and Corpus Christi and are active throughout the seaports, terminals and various industries of the state of Texas/Louisiana

The Sales Representative is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating activities for sales related to Environmental Services, as well as industrial, non-hazardous and hazardous waste stream management for Nature customers. This position requires effective execution of sales strategies that maximize sales volume, drive targeted profitable growth, and professionally develop the customer base.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies, along with sales and marketing plans that complement the overall operating plan for the business.
  • Responsible for new customer solicitation, bid preparation and closing the sale as well as customer retention.
  • Review Customer Service Agreements for terms and conditions pricing, accuracy, and other requirements.
  • Achieve consistent results through superior performance.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Detailed oriented and mine data to strategically identify the qualified leads and unlock the full account potential.
  • Manages sales performance and customer interaction. Regularly reviews sales activity funnels and results in comparison to new sales and retention goals to drive the organization toward the achievement of budgeted expectations.
  • Work with the business unit teams to understand and implement key processes. Identify and solve constraints while proactively identifying customer hurdles.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s available services, lines of business, pricing, and structures.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing, management, or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a sales role in a similar field. (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license (Required)
  • Able to pass a background and drug screen.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals. Ability to sell; prospect autonomously; develop and manage own pipeline; close own deals.
  • Experience using business and sales software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint or other CRM tools, etc.).
  • Experience with a focus on sales, client relations, and/or business development with proven expertise in petro-chemical in-plant waste management, and environmental services. This would include industrial services, hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, with a knowledge of how to establish profiles within disposal facilities.
  • Strong proven experience managing business development across a large geographic area.
  • Self-motivated; maintains a feeling of pride in work; has a strong work ethic and strives to achieve all goals; is competitive and has a strong drive to win; takes appropriate risks.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal); can effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner.
  • Has the ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation; seeks information from appropriate sources; can tackle a problem using a logical, sequential approach and can anticipate the implications of actions.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and enlist the support and participation of others.
  • Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars.
  • Manages contract and bid projects through our RFP process.

Starting compensation: $70,000 -$130,000 per year (Base + Variable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
