Job Description:
This position is responsible for building a complete sales infrastructure that will support and enhance the company’s revenue growth efforts. The role will be an advocate for the company culture and direction. Domestic travel is required.
Requirements:
Sales Leadership
- Deliver leadership and direction to a team of outside and inside sales group
- Provide regular reporting on progress, goals, forecasts and KPI’s to the CEO/EVP
- Run weekly one-on-one sales meetings to ensure team is meeting minimum activity levels
- Provide regular and consistent feedback and coaching to the team
- Provide roleplaying sessions as needed
- Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
- Utilize market insights to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with key existing and potential customers
- Identify/recognize customer lifetime potential
Sales Infrastructure Development
- Create a 30-60-90-day onboarding plan for new sales members including compensation plans
- Create and implement a value proposition workshop
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and company objectives
- Design, develop, and communicate sales presentations for customers including business reviews
- Determine sales revenue projections for base business, key account growth, and new clients
- Document customized and repeatable sales processes by defining the steps by priority that are connected to key deliverables
- Create KPI’s, reporting, and dashboard tools that are essential to the sales process and company objectives to ensure goals are met
- Recommend and develop pipeline management and forecasting methodologies and processes
- Prepare sales budgets and approval of expenditures
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven track record in sales with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- 5 years’ experience within the retail fixture industry
- Proven ability to drive sales process from prospecting to close
- Excellent relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead both inside and outsides sales team
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Action, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented
- Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products KCSF offers
