Position Summary
This position is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing JCB Dealer sales team, reporting directly to the North American Sales Manager. The role will task the candidate to demonstrate their selling skills while developing a wider skills base in negotiation, problem solving, CRM system use and large account management.
The applicant will be the primary point of contact between our regional sales teams, dealers, our company HQ in Savannah GA. This individual will gain experience in the full sales process from lead generation to machine delivery; qualifying sales leads, hosting customers, facilitating JCB dealer order changes, and managing delivery requests. This individual will be able to accept ownership for in bound and out bound communication, effectively manipulate complaints and inquiries keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. The candidate will ensure dealer inquiries are given personalized attention and are treated as a priority.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Generate qualified leads for JCB dealers via calls, live chat, and email
- Handle all dealer inquiries and responds within twenty-four hours
- Serves as a primary point of contact for the field sales staff to resolve order inquiries
- Supports Dealer Sales “open houses” and events
- Performs projects for the Dealer Sales Team as required
- Conduct regular traction meetings to focus on individual development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field
- Must pass any drug test, background check and any pre-employment testing as applicable
- Experience in sales or marketing
- Knowledge of customer support systems/procedures or channels of distribution
- Salesforce usage
- Customer oriented due to considerable amount of customer contact
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency
- Excellent problem-solving skills – innovative and creative thinking with an ability to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Effective oral and written communication with an emphasis on phone skills
- Flexible and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Identify and succinctly report emerging and evolving trends and customer/dealer feedback beyond fixed metrics
- Likes to work hard and has a thirst for knowledge
- Active listener
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
- Subject to noise and temperature changes
