What you will do:

This position is accountable for selling Commercial Roof Top units and accessories to an established customer base as well as potential new customers in Minnesota. The RTU’s range is mainly from 3T to 27.5T and is sold out of our local stock in Minnesota branch, as well as from our factory in Norman, OK. The Product Specialist will provide commercial quotations and submittals through our SelNav system and utilize matrix pricing and/or work with our pricing team for special pricing as needed. Proactive selling and project follow-up are essential for short-term and long-term sales growth. The Product Specialist will also assist Account Managers in Commercial quoting where necessary and is encouraged to visit customers with the AMs as time permits.

How you will do it:

  • Provide selling support to customers and co-workers as necessary , and others who may influence the purchase decision.
  • Provide commercial quotations based on customer project requirements and their inputs, as well as established project equipment schedules, they provide.
  • Provide product information and published technical data to influencers, as needed, for favorable product specification.

What we look for:

Required

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred or related industry/product experience.
  • A minimum of two years experience in a related field.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability.
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing, with comprehensive knowledge of the principles of air conditioning.
