Position Description
EōS are actively seeking a Vice President of Engineering with a specialized focus on Azure, Mobile and Web Applications, and SaaS. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in these areas, capable of driving innovation and excellence in our technical solutions. This role requires a visionary who can shape and execute the technical strategy, ensuring the success of our projects within the Azure ecosystem and mobile/web application development, particularly in the context of Software as a Service (SaaS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for engineering solutions within the Azure cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Mobile Application Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team specializing in mobile application development (iOS and Android).
- SaaS Expertise: Drive the development and evolution of our Software as a Service (SaaS) ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team, ensuring high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on Azure technologies, mobile/web application development best practices, and SaaS architecture and integration.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Azure, mobile applications, web development and SaaS, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on Azure cloud platform, mobile/web application development, and SaaS.
- Deep technical expertise in Azure services, mobile platforms (iOS and Android), and SaaS architecture.
- Experience leading and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications.
- Previous experience in a technology leadership role within the industry.
