Automotive Financial Services Manager

Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Automotive Financial Services Manager to join their fast-growing team. They are looking for an enthusiastic retail experienced individual to continue to provide the exceptional service that exemplifies their automotive group.

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Financial Services Manager will focus on executing customer vehicle deliveries and presenting value-added products/services to our customers. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to).

  • Customer loan origination and approval process.
  • Establish and maintain strong relations with our lenders.
  • Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
  • Determine the customer’s need for financing/leasing and explore different payment options.
  • Establish a positive relationship with customers as they are presented products and services.
  • Present warranties, credit insurance, automotive parts accessories and protection packages and other beneficial products offered by the dealership.
  • Secure and finalize transactions in a legal and ethical manner while maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Meet monthly forecast for finance, insurance, warranty etc. income, penetration levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately prepare all loan documentation, warranty information etc. and dealer paperwork related to the transaction and submit to the dealership’s accounting department in a timely manner.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase/lease experience.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with concern for the customer.
  • Stay up to date on product changes and new products.
  • Understand and comply with National, Provincial, and local regulations that affect the Financial Services office and the administration of the various products and services.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management.
  • Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

Requirements (include but are not limited to):

  • Prior experience in a dealership Financial Services office, automotive sales, or in the selling of financial products.
  • Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel and Word.
  • CDK/Reynolds/PBS Dealer Services Experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) registered or have the ability to be OMVIC registered.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with post-secondary education preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in the Province of Ontario.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Port Perry, ON L9L 1G3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • automotive finance: 2 years (preferred)
  • Automotive Business Management: 2 years (preferred)
