Join our team as an Inside Sales associate at Decks and Docks Company, where you will play a pivotal role in the success of our rapidly expanding company. This full-time position offers stability and provides a platform for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

Seeking a candidate who will manage and address customer needs, perform sales calls, secure new business, and grow current accounts consistently and effectively. This position requires having frequent contact with longstanding customers in person, by phone, and walk-ins. Other duties will include generating sales orders, invoicing sales tickets, and working with others at the location to ensure that customer orders are processed and delivered efficiently.

  • Customer Connection: Engage with our valued customers daily, delivering exceptional service, and building lasting relationships.
  • Processing Orders: Accurately processing orders to manage the demand of our customers’ needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere as a vital team player, contributing to the company's overall success.

Qualifications:

Seeking a detail-oriented person that thrives when multi-tasking. The successful person will be motivated, dependable, shows personal initiative, has an aptitude for detail, and will have a positive mind set.

  • Being comfortable each day with telephone communication with customers and vendors.
  • A willingness to get outside the office if physical inventory verification is necessary.
  • Previous experience in the lumber, building materials, or general parts industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience relating to inventory control is a plus.
  • Previous experience with operating a forklift is a plus.
  • Exceptional work ethic, excellent communication skills and organizational skills
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a clean record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
