We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be responsible for providing quality customer service to clients over the phone and email. You will also be required to process policy changes, answer inquiries, and resolve customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner. Candidates must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Depending on your experience, your base salary is $40,000 to $46,000 per year. With bonuses, may make up to $55,000 Per year.

Insurance experience is required to apply.

Salary: $45000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Take care of the book of business
  • Foster strong customer relationships and strive to enhance client retention and product loyalty.
  • Engage in follow-up discussions with clients to ensure their satisfaction as you work towards closing the sale.
  • Utilize various computer systems for daily transactions, process premium payments, review, update, and make changes to policies, handle claims, and process endorsements.
  • Issue Insurance Documentation (COI, ID cards, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent and prompt communication with clients to address their needs and concerns, thus maintaining retention standards.
  • Shop renewals based on client updates and plans and current market conditions.

Requirements
  • Ohio Property and Casualty License required.
  • 1+ years Insurance experience.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail when reviewing policies, contracts, and client data to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of accuracy.
  • Handle various client interactions, policy inquiries, and administrative duties simultaneously, without compromising the quality of service.
  • Act as a dedicated team player by fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent service to clients.
  • Establish ambitious renewal and service goals, continuously strive to exceed performance targets, and deliver exceptional results to clients.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in written communication, and within the office to foster a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
