Position Overview
We are one of the largest independent brokerages in the Southeast. We have been in business for 50+ years and are continuing to grow. Due to our continued growth, we are in need of an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their employee benefits programs. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, conducting needs assessments, and ensuring that clients receive optimal service and support in their benefits offerings. This is a Hybrid position from our Atlanta, GA office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the main point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate and implement employee benefit plans, including group benefits, life & health, and property & casualty.
- Educate clients and their employees about benefits offerings and assist with enrollment processes.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure client compliance and promote best practices in employee benefits management.
- Resolve any issues or concerns that arise regarding benefits administration and claims processing.
- Prepare and present reports and analyses on benefits utilization and performance to clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of group benefits, life & health, and property & casualty insurance.
- Proficiency in benefits administration software and tools.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
