Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Network Specialist to design and implement secure network solutions for video surveillance systems for our clients worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, particularly in network management and security, to ensure robust and reliable IP connectivity for high-definition video surveillance cameras.

Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant networks on AWS for video surveillance systems.
Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, NAT instances, network ACLs, and security groups to ensure secure and efficient network traffic flow.
Implement and maintain VPN connections and Direct Connect to integrate AWS networks with client on-premise infrastructures.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce network policies and monitor compliance with security standards.
Optimize network performance to support real-time video data transmission across diverse geographical locations.
Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS features and best practices, and evaluate new AWS technologies that may benefit our network architecture.
Document network setups and configurations for both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Advanced Networking certification preferred.
Proven experience in network design and operations, particularly within an AWS environment.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, etc.) and experience with network troubleshooting tools.
Experience with video surveillance systems and their specific network demands is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay: $30/hr (flexible pending experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
