Job Description
Summary
The Account Manager will promote and sell the company’s K-12 Educational Furniture products through effective customer prospecting, sales techniques and customer service by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Promote and sell products and services to customers and prospects.
- Develop thorough product knowledge of multiple furniture lines
- Find, attract and develop prospects into new and repeat customers.
- Manage assigned client list of new and existing customers.
- Project a professional image to customers at all times.
- Effectively utilize CRM tools to develop sales opportunities and time management.
- Provide customers with product demonstrations, presentations, options and quotations.
- Respond to customer and company requests in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Sales Assistants and other company associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Learn and support sales policies and procedures, including creating proposals and vendor orders.
- Local travel required - must have reliable transportation.
- Attend local trade shows, including setup and staffing of company exhibit booth.
- Cooperatively perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Sales experience is a plus, not a requirement
Years of Experience
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in business-to-business sales.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business is beneficial.
