About the Role

The Inside Sales and Order Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. This role involves close collaboration with sales, customer service, logistics, and production teams to optimize sales operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in generating quotes, processing sales orders, and managing customer accounts.
  • Provide administrative support to sales representatives to help achieve sales targets.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries related to products, orders, and deliveries.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process from order entry through delivery.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently, coordinating with logistics and production teams as necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability for orders. Work with the procurement team to address inventory shortages and manage stock levels.
  • Arrange for shipping and delivery of orders, selecting appropriate shipping methods and coordinating with carriers.
  • Manage shipping documentation and compliance with export regulations, if applicable.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the sales or order fulfillment process, including returns and exchanges.
  • Maintain records of sales activities, order processing, and customer interactions.
  • Generate reports on sales performance, order status, and inventory levels for management review.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent communication across sales, customer service, logistics, and production.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Present a professional and congenial phone manner (i.e.: tone, vocabulary, etc.).
  • Experience in sales support/quoting customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of phone calls, email, and workload on a consistent basis.
  • High degree of organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to effectively formulate written correspondence.
  • Must possess diplomatic skills, be a quick, responsive thinker and a self-initiator.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and experience with Word, Excel, and databases.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree emphasis in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.


Pay rate: $28.00-$33.00
