Oldcastle APG Canada West is seeking a qualified individual to join our energetic and thriving team located in Acheson, AB. The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the CSR Supervisor and will be an integral part of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives regarding sales promotions and initiatives which require phone contact and follow-up
  • Help customers with design ideas/problems; provides customer feedback to management
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and maintains customer informed of such schedules
  • Establish SOP’s for samples, returns and special orders
  • Handling returns: miss ships and mis orders
  • Coordination of marketing material for the Key Account Managers
  • Calling and following up with dormant accounts
  • Provide support for our major key accounts

Skills/Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a team setting with a variety of different personalities from various departments and positions
  • Must have very strong customer service and data entry skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Must possess advanced computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office Suite, prior experience working with an ERP/MRP considered an asset
  • High School Diploma
  • Ideally 2-4 years of experience in a customer service role and/or purchasing & inventory control role preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Public transportation is not available, all candidates must have their own reliable means of transportation

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
