Exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand new best-in-class Ad Ops team. Entrepreneurial in spirit, a ‘builder’ at heart, this Ad Ops Manager will be responsible for defining processes and best practices for direct and programmatic campaign management and trafficking, while also partnering with tech and analytics counterparts to develop and deploy data management and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and manage process and best practices for omni-channel campaign management (trafficking, launch, maintenance and optimization of advertising campaigns), partnering with Sales, Account Management, Billing & Analytics
  • Lead the global campaign management/trafficking team providing training, guidance, coaching & mentorship, acting as a point of contact for escalations as needed
  • Work with internal creative teams, programmatic and media buyers, digital technology and analytics teams to implement digital ad serving best practices, troubleshoot creative and technology related to advertising campaigns
  • Partner with Director to keep key stakeholders including clients and account teams updated on campaign and account level performance via regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Oversight of inventory, KPIs and benchmarks for digital inventory and product
  • Troubleshoot issues with tags, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients and 3rd party vendors to resolve them quickly and effectively

NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including days worked onsite at our Chicago office location.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media (or related) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of AdTech and digital ad operations experience
  • Knowledgeable about AdTech, MarTech, Digital Media (direct and programmatic)
  • Deep familiarity with Google Ad Manager/DV 360 – delivery logic, creative templates, inventory management and ad tags
  • Background in using Third-Party tags for impression, viewability, and IVT tracking (DCM, Innovid, Moat, IAS, Sizmek, etc)
  • Demonstrated success building and managing complex business processes across multiple teams in a high-growth environment
  • Deep understanding of the needs and motivations of a variety of stakeholders that interact with advertising inventory
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Ownership mindset with propensity of taking the initiative to find unique solutions to business challenges, as well as strong decision-making skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience working with and trafficking in Ad Servers, Programmatic, Ad Networks, SSPs & DSPs
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, or HTML5, a plus
  • Familiarity with ad management technologies & BI tools (GAM Ad Verification, Order Management System (OMS), Tableau)
