Join Ideal Electrical Supply Corp as an Inside Gear Estimator/Sales Engineer!

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain customer accounts by marketing our product lines and providing value-added services. This involves visiting customer facilities or making contact by phone.

- Attend business community outreach events, weekly sales calls, and job site walk-throughs.

- Provide customers with comprehensive product information, including pricing, delivery, inventory stocking, back-order availability, and value-added product details.

- Negotiate and establish sales quotes based on product volume and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and profitability. Follow up on quotations via phone or visits.

- Quote, close, and project manage orders, exercising independent judgment and responsibility under general guidelines.

- Evaluate problem accounts or orders, working with appropriate personnel to develop strategies and contingency plans to secure desired market share. Recommend deviations from standard policies when necessary.

- Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities, including quotes, orders, and any issues with customer/vendor relationships.

- Provide weekly lost business reports and monthly territory sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5-10 years of related experience.

- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.

- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and PC skills required.

- Familiarity with Eclipse Software preferred.

- Completion of trade school, vocational school, or college courses in sales, marketing, or business administration.

- Self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality, and well-organized.

- Deadline and detail-oriented is a must.

Compensation:

Candidates must be comfortable with a dual base and commission compensation package.
