Job Overview
As a Catering and Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects from planning to execution of the contract. This role requires a strong background in hospitality and event planning. This role will work directly with team partners to grow the business and work with the local community to develop lasting and profitable relationships. This role is bonus eligible with an attainable structure and huge income potential from development and retaining of clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and sell events from start to finish
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events
- Upsell catering services to maximize revenue
- Oversee budgeting and financial aspects of catering operations
Experience
- Proven experience in catering, events management, or related field
- Strong knowledge of restaurant or hotel catering operations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services
- Familiarity with fundraising events is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
