Summary
Leading equipment distribution company with branches located in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield, IL and a large established customer base requires an Inside Sales Manager at the Kansas City location and the company’s full sales territory to assist the Director of Sales in supporting the sales team. The Inside Sales Manager will work directly with the company’s Director of Sales, product team, management, and sales team to support and assist the growth and management of our sales division of Key Equipment. This position supports Key Equipment’s strategy to continue our growth in the contractor, industrial, and municipal segment of our business. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting external sales representatives, coordinate resources, and manage internal data and reporting to maximize sales and profits. Must be able to work synergistically with others to make sure the customer experience with this department is excellent. A successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as with the internal team to achieve company goals. Inside Sales Management
Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited too.
- Implements and assists with sales goals within management guidelines.
- Establish a relationship with all of the company’s manufacturers, employees, and other suppliers
- Schedule and coordinate equipment used for demonstrations as well as update the company demo calendar as needed
- Maintain the company’s inventory control numbering system for capital equipment
- Assist management, TMs, and PSSRs with mapping their territories for maximum results
- Coordinate shipments of equipment and inventory
- Have the ability to operate the company’s CRM, SharePoint, pricing sheets, and all other supporting programs
- Understands and supports established sales policies and procedures to ensure sales personnel provide proper and effective treatment to customers.
- Applies knowledge of company products and services to assist TM and PSSR with providing quality customer service.
- Reviews and resolves customer complaints in a professional and timely manner as directed and/or required.
- Maintains used equipment inventory and assist with coordination with parts and service to establish a timeline for inbound used equipment to be completed
- Provides monthly contract reporting, such as Sourcewell & HGAC, to respective manufacturers
- Works in conjunction with accounting to ensure price sheets are accurate after delivery of equipment
- Represents company at trade organizations and other corporate events as needed.
- Work synergistically with other departments
- Travels to customer locations to complete sales calls with TMs and PSSRs as needed

- Maintains an effective sales department through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, and review of direct staff.
- Provides guidance and direction to sales personnel to assist them in their professional development.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
