Villara Building Systems is expanding its full-service SOLAR division and hiring the area’s TOP Sales Professionals!

As a SOLAR SALES CONSULTANT, your goal is to identify (by phone and sometimes in-person) homeowners and business interested in adding solar power to their home, apartment or commercial building, educate, answer questions, design and sell a system to meet their needs. We build relationships and consistently exceed expectations. Top performers will have career advancement, leadership, and management opportunities as we continue to expand our solar division.
Responsibilities:
Sales of residential and commercial solar electric systems
Prospect & qualify both inbound and outbound leads
Analyze customer’s current and projected electrical needs, multiple financing options, and financial impact of adding solar.
Utilize online tools to develop preliminary designs and create proposals for customers
Present solar systems by phone or in-person
Close deals and help customer’s review and sign solar contracts by phone or in-person
Communicate with operations team and customers throughout the design and installation process
Document all communication with customers in company CRM.
Some travel required
Additional duties required as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 4-5 years of full sales cycle solar experience with a proven track record of success in a quota driven environment
Previous telesales experience is a plus
Business to Consumer experience is a plus (Financial services, insurance, investments, mortgage, high-tech sales, etc.)
Proven ability to build and develop business relationships
History of developing referral business
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications
- CRM experience (Salesforce.com or Service Titan) a plus
- Strong desire to stay on the leading edge of our industry
- General understanding of construction a plus
- College degree preferred
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent customer service skills required
