Lis Simon Inc. is a wedding gown brand based in Calgary, Alberta. We deal B2B by selling our wedding gowns and accessories to the best bridal boutiques across North America. What we need.
You are a person who will communicate and manage our existing customer base, while growing our business by acquiring new customers and territory. You will develop and execute a sales strategy that will help us increase our overall sales, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This is an in-office position.
This position is located in Calgary, Alberta.

What you’ll be doing.
- Weekly correspondence with Directors, and teammates about tasks on hand and any issues that have arisen, and updates with our retailers.
- Processing incoming orders by confirming them with our retailers, and providing them to our Operations Director for manufacturing.
- Be able to answer any questions regarding any orders from our Operations Director.
- Recognize any sales trends and notifying Creative Director.
- Providing our customers with support by answering all inquiries, and providing quotes in a timely manner.
- Assist in any warehousing efforts, this includes but limited to prepping and scheduling products for shipping.
- Ensure our clients receive invoices and invoices are paid.
- Address and manage all incoming issues, and finding a fair and immediate solution.
- Monitor customers overall sales, suggest ways to assist in boosting sales.
- Travel out of country for trade events, assisting and organizing set-up
- Meeting new and current retailers, and closing sales at trade events.
- Other related duties and tasks as assigned.

“Must have” skills/experience
- Clear written and verbal communication in English is required
- Strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop insight from available data sources.
- Can create strategy and plans from analytical insights, for example finding win-win solutions
- Priority management skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills and being able to actively listen.
- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships
- Always a problem solver, solutions provider.
- Ability to adapt and change, take feedback from teammates and customers.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
“Nice to have” skills/experience
- Oral and written fluency in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese is an asset
- Education: Diploma or degree in sales or business is preferred.
- Experience in the fashion and/or sales industry
- Experience with CRM software and QBO
