The Big Tasks: You will drive sales goals for our home service and replacement business.
Key Sub Tasks
- Sales Strategy & Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals, focusing on residential and commercial HVAC sales. Establish measurable targets, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies as necessary to exceed sales goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of HVAC sales representatives to maximize productivity and meet or exceed sales targets. Conduct regular training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and addressing any service issues that arise.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee and refine the sales process to ensure a seamless experience for customers, from initial consultation through project completion. Coach the team on both the Sales System and Service System processes, fostering alignment with the Installation Manager, Service Manager, and Contact Center Manager to enhance cross-departmental communication, streamline workflows, and ensure client expectations are met.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports on sales activity, revenue, and client feedback for senior management. Create and manage dashboards displaying company, departmental, and employee performance against target benchmarks, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decisions and enhance sales outcomes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in HVAC or a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a managerial role.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, solutions, and the residential/commercial market landscape.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM and job management software (e.g., ServiceTitan).
- Experience working with Trane, Mitsubishi, and Bosch
Working Conditions: This is a full-time, in-person position at our Scottsdale facility. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
