Skillsets & Experience

Proven sales track record with cost estimating experience in metal fabrication, steel service center, machine shop, or related fields
Experience developing new markets and opportunities
Ability to identify customer needs, write and present proposals
Familiar with processes such as welding, plate bending, plate rolling, plate cutting, and general fabrication techniques
Familiar with ASME & AWS project requirements
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints

Preferred Skills

A self-starter with drive to succeed
Organized detail-oriented approach to work assignments
Good customer service skills and follow up
Ability to build rapport with customers and prospects
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good math skills for pricing materials and estimation of labor costs
