Job Description Role and Responsibilities
As the Site and Sales Manager at Signal Gates, you will play a multifaceted role, overseeing both sales operations and permit acquisition processes for our automated gate installations and service division. Your leadership, strategic planning, and regulatory expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities include:
Sales and Business Development:
· Identify and pursue sales opportunities for automated gate installations and service contracts.
· Cultivate relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
· Understand client needs and preferences to offer tailored solutions.
Site Management and Project Oversight:
· Provide leadership and direction to site installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control measures.
· Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
· Coordinate project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
Proposal and Contract Preparation:
· Prepare accurate and competitive bids for automated gate projects.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals.
· Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals.
· Coordinate contract execution, ensuring that all contractual agreements are accurately documented and adhered to between Signal Gates and the customer.
· Review contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities for the company.
Permit Acquisition:
· Navigate the permit process with city officials and regulatory bodies.
· Obtain necessary permits and approvals for automated gate installations.
· Generate and manage documentation required for permit applications.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
· Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and installation process.
· Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely manner.
· Strive to exceed customer expectations and foster long-term relationships.
Team Leadership and Development:
· Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of site installation & service personnel.
· Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture focused on achieving business objectives and delivering exceptional service.
· Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with sales, installation, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
· Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to coordinate efforts and resources.
· Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
· Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the construction industry or related field.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents related to automated gate installations and construction projects.
· Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and permit processes, ensuring compliance throughout project lifecycles.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
· Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management software for documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
· Experience in managing people, demonstrating leadership capabilities, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
