We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team as an Educational Adviser, responsible for selling academic programs at a prestigious Canadian college.
You will guide prospective students through decision-making, offering expert advice and building long-term relationships to close sales of $5,000 and above. This role demands persistence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple touchpoints over several months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery meetings with prospective students to understand their needs and present suitable academic programs.
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospects, guiding them through a 3-6 month decision-making process to close sales.
- Utilize CRM systems to maintain detailed customer interactions and sales activity records.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with ongoing promotional campaigns.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets, maintaining a consultative and customer-focused approach.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, particularly with high-ticket items ($5,000+).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong experience using CRM systems and managing long sales cycles with multiple touchpoints.
- Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with prospective clients.
