Under the responsibility of the regional sales director, the incumbent will manage the inside sales team within the Business Solutions department. He or she will be responsible for creating and maintaining procedures for the successful completion of the sales cycle. Because customer satisfaction is a priority, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high level of communication with all stakeholders, whether they are inside or outside the company. As part of his or her duties, the inside manager will support his or her employees’ work daily and also ensure that there is excellent communication with the company’s other sales departments. He or she will participate in directors’ meetings.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Supervise his or her department’s daily tasks and ensures that all his or her staff can be effective and efficient
- Assist project managers and estimators to ensure the quality of the documentation sent to our customers and manufacturers
- Support the logistics coordination team and ensure the accuracy of the tracking table of expected delivery dates so that pick-up, transportation, and delivery are seamlessly carried out
- Assist sales departments with administrative tasks critical to the successful completion of the sales cycle
- Use the company’s software (SST, GUI, Progression Live, etc.) and perfect its use within his or her work teams
- Effectively manage, safeguard, and communicate information. Properly use the plans and specifications directories in sales support to keep important documents
- Actively organize and participate in pre-tender meetings
- Identify potential issues that may arise in our complex projects and communicate them to other Sales stakeholders before manufacturing and/or before start-up, as needed
- Establish and maintain a high level of training for all his or her employees to maintain the quality of services delivered to other sales departments and our customers
- Create and distribute work tools to improve processes and tasks specific to his or her department
- Maintain a quality assurance system to generate and maintain maximum added value for sales projects
- Organize, supervise, and conduct internal audits in his or her department to validate compliance with established
What You Bring to Our Team:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, estimation or project management
- In-depth knowledge of the sales cycle of projects and operations related to each phase of the cycle
- Experience in implementing a quality assurance program
- Experience in continuous improvement
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
- Be able to supervise the tasks of a team between 7 to 10 people
- Be able to work under pressure in a context where meeting deadlines and timeframes is a high priority
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems involving a variety of stakeholders
- Be skilled in organizing, coordinating, and inspecting employees’ work
- Demonstrate thoroughness in the work he or she does
- Be detail oriented
