Job Description
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule: Monday to Friday - Hybrid Role
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 USD
Expense Plan: $800/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify viable leads and secure new business opportunities for the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
- Target new business and competitor opportunities within the $200-$2,000/month revenue band.
- Stay updated on market trends and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop a deep understanding of company services, pricing, and offerings to present tailored solutions.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships to grow revenue and meet pricing goals.
- Execute service agreements and partner with internal teams to address client needs effectively.
- Represent the company at trade shows, Chamber of Commerce events, and other networking opportunities.
- Conduct site visits as necessary.
- Use Salesforce daily to document activities, schedule tasks, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Meet or exceed weekly activity standards, including phone appointments and pipeline management.
- Consistently achieve or surpass monthly growth quotas.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience with a record of exceeding revenue quotas and managing a book of business.
- 2+ years of experience in the solid waste industry is an asset
- Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for pipeline management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Must be okay with a mix of professional office settings and field environments.
