Job Title: Sales Manager - Boutique Fitness

Reports to: Studio Owner

We deliver energizing, empowering and FUN yoga classes for students of all levels.

POSITION:

As Sales Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the new Laguna Niguel studio location, ensuring an exceptional customer experience according to YogaSix standards. You will oversee a team of front desk Wellness Advisors, providing leadership and daily direction. You are accountable for all aspects of studio functionality including Sales, Customer Experience and Operations. The Sales Manager exhibits self-discipline and aims for achievement. The Sales Manager is sales driven, pre-sale and post-opening, with a strong commitment to driving leads, converting leads to members, and maintaining the member relationship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE SALES MANAGER:

Sales, Sales, Sales!

  • Lead Generation, Membership Sales and Retention in the pre-sale phase and after the doors open
  • Manage and grow all revenue streams including Memberships, Retail and Teacher Training
  • Hold all team members accountable for consistently delivering the Signature Six

Marketing

  • Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new member acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty
  • Reputation management through all channels including social media, online reviews, and member feedback
  • Schedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships on a weekly basis to drive new member traffic
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with local businesses, first-responders and schools

Management and Operations

  • Manage studio budget, spending, and reporting
  • Work closely with Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure health and profitability of the studio
  • Schedule, train and manage the staff
  • Manage maintenance issues, inventory and cleaning
  • Participate in studio and company-wide meetings and trainings as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE EMBODIES THE FOLLOWING:

Sales

  • Strong experience and history of performance in retail/service or fitness sales
  • Proven experience in the full lifecycle of lead management (generating, following up, and closing leads)
  • Highly confident in generating personal sales, training and managing staff in sales strategy
  • Willingness to role play with team daily
  • Ability to achieve sales objectives across all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
  • Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience resolving employee and/or member conflicts - we're looking for a proactive problem solver!
  • Self-starter who is self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Strong drive for personal and professional development

Communications and Customer Service

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, diverse environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills across various mediums including in person, telephone, social media and email. Must be fluent in English and have solid writing and grammar skills
  • Cultivate a positive studio atmosphere that is energizing, empowering and fun for all employees and members

Management

  • High emotional intelligence; treats all members and staff respectfully and professionally, even in challenging situations
  • Team leadership experience, with positive track record of staff supervision
  • Adaptable and aware of opportunities for improvement
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable

PREFERRED AVAILABILITY:

Our members train early mornings, evenings and weekends. We need someone who understands the unique culture of the fitness industry and has the flexibility for proper coverage in the studio.
