Job Description: As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures, operating CT equipment, and ensuring high-quality images are produced.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting CT scans according to physician orders
Preparing and positioning patients for procedures
Operating and maintaining CT equipment
Monitoring patients during scans and ensuring their safety and comfort
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess images and provide diagnostic support
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Education and Certification Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts
