Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Collections to lead our organization towards achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of collection services, customer service, and account management. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to analyze data effectively to drive decision-making.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage account processes, ensuring timely collection and accurate reporting.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct account analysis to assess performance and recommend actionable improvements.
- Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Skills
- 5 years minimum in a collection agency environment
- Previous history of proven management ability
- University degree or equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in account management and analysis.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms
- Solid understanding of account management principles.
- Strong oral and written English skills
- Strong computer skills
- French language a benefit but not a requirement
