Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the sales of pre-owned vehicles, manage inventory, and lead a team to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales process of pre-owned vehicles from acquisition to delivery
- Maintain and update inventory listings, ensuring accuracy and attractiveness
- Lead and motivate a sales team to meet and exceed sales goals
- Develop pricing strategies based on market trends and vehicle conditions
- Negotiate deals with customers to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Utilize sales pipeline management to track leads and conversions
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements
Experience:
- Strong mathematical skills for pricing and financial calculations
- Proficient in phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Experience with dealership operations and software systems
- Previous success in retail sales, particularly outbound sales
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for diverse customer interactions
- Ability to negotiate effectively to close deals
- Understanding of retail math principles for pricing strategies
