As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales within your given territory.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Grow the opportunity funnel with winnable projects while maintaining healthy profit margins
- Become a technical asset by learning products and evangelizing to customers and outside sales staff
- Continuously improve: there is always something new to learn, new skills to adopt, and new methods to grow
- Ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit and is willing to put in the hard work to get results
- Experience working with military/space customers highly preferred
- Experience in the electronics industry highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a related field

What will you be Accountable for?
- Accountable for managing existing business and growing new business by providing excellent, timely service and focusing on adding value to our customers
- Providing quotations and support to customers and outside team members promptly
- Following up and following through on quotes, leads, rep management, and activity generation
- Understand customers, applications, products, competitors, and key differentiators
- Drive internal activities through cross-functional teamwork across the organization
- Lead on new opportunities and see them through from discovery to shipment
How will you Collaborate?
Account Managers will work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Accounting and Purchasing. Account Managers should take ownership of these activities and be a resource to coworkers. Externally, you will work with customers (typically engineers and buyers) to sell Winchester Interconnect Micro solutions. Technical support is available from the Applications Engineering Manager and Business Development Manager. Will work with the Cost Analyst on pricing, as needed. You will also work closely with Regional Sales Managers to close new business.
What are you Empowered to do?
- Take ownership of the business within the assigned territory and get support from the Business Development Manager to be successful
- Be proactive: generate new business, collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, work with distributors, and manage rep firms
- Manage the profit margins for the territory and grow company profitability

Pay Transparency:
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $70k to $90k plus commission eligible. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
