Job Description
AgencyPPC is seeking an experienced Remote E-Commerce Google Ads Specialist residing in Florida to join our PPC agency. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing and optimizing Google Ads accounts while serving as the expert consultant for a segment of our client accounts. You'll work alongside an experienced team that strategizes and problem-solves together and report directly to our Sr. Project Manager.
Why Work At AgencyPPC?
- Experience a multitude of industries and work directly with market-leading brands: We work with market-leading brands as well as everyday SMBs. Our accounts are varied and bring different challenges to the table. Every day is different and fresh. We typically work deeper engagements with our clients (vs. light touch management) to improve their account performance and solve complex business issues, so a typical client load is 2-12 clients per specialist.
- Accelerated Career Paths: As a smaller agency, expanding our leadership team is a high priority and the internal team is prioritized for these roles.
- 99.9% Remote Position: We operate 99.9% remotely, but with most of the team in the north suburbs of Chicago, we occasionally enjoy a lunch chat or on-site client meeting when possible (although rare). We hope to maintain this possibility with local (to FL) candidates.
- Support by a great team and hands-on leadership: You'll have a team to lean on (many of us have experienced being the only "PPC person" at a company). We strategize and problem-solve together. Those around you understand what can reasonably be controlled, as well as what can not.
- Competitive Packages + Bonuses: We are looking for great talent with deep experience (20+ accounts managed hands-on) in Google Ads. If you've managed 30-40+ accounts hands-on, we strongly encourage you to apply.
- Skill Development: We hold bi-weekly skill workshops (covering team-suggested topics like Excel, Google Ads Editor Tricks, GTM, GA4, Google Analytics, PM system, etc.). We also have a robust library of proprietary documentation & SOPs to expand skills in commonly challenging areas.
- Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Life, PTO, and 401k
- Equipment Provided: Laptop, dual monitors, camera (for zoom), and bonus/convenience equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead The Client To Success: Be their main point of contact. Ensure our company's efforts are aligned with meeting their goals. Guide clients with data, rapport, and the foresight of your Google Ads experience.
- New Account Onboardings: Actively lead the onboarding process and kick-off call.
- Own Their Success: Take accountability and ownership over the state of the account under your management (ensure it's built to and performing to your standards).
- Strategy: Maintain a cohesive account strategy to drive client goals. Monitor and manage account performance. Propose new ideas to continuously improve performance.
- Campaign Optimization: Analyzing key metrics and implementing changes to drive desired KPIs towards successful client outcomes.
- Ad spend/Uptime: Manage accounts and budgets to pace properly (not exceeded, underutilized, or abruptly interrupted).
- Tracking: Set up or guide developers to set up conversions. Monitor regularly that all conversion tracking is complete, accurate, and remains properly functioning.
- Reporting: Schedule and lead reporting calls, provide client reports as requested, keep the internal team informed of issues, challenges, and wins.
- Project Management: Ensure client requests are executed and reflected in PM system, create/update client meeting agendas, and create tasks as needed to upkeep accounts.
- Process Improvement: Create/improve processes and systems (checklists, SOPs, How-to videos, templates, etc.)
Who You Are:
- High proficiency in Google Ads (20+ accounts managed), preferably in an agency environment. High experience in e-commerce accounts.
- Beyond average ability in the areas covered in the "What You'll Do" section above.
- High comfort with Google Ads Editor and Google Analytics/GA4
- Deep understanding of the relationship of performance metrics like CPC, CPM, and Conversion Rate on CPA and ROAS. As well as how to impact them to drive changes in CPA and ROAS.
- Expert in Excel or Google Sheets Analysis: Primarily functions and pivot tables for analysis and reporting.
- Personable and professional: Ability to present to clients on Zoom calls with accurate insights, explanations for changes in metrics, and recommendations supported by data.
- Detail-oriented: Highly analytical, attentive to detail with strong critical thinking skills.
- Superior organization skills. Prepared. Systemized.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
