Mystic Vine is a Wholesale Wine and Spirits Distributor, based in New Orleans, servicing the State of Louisiana. Our portfolio has a wide range of wines and spirits both Domestic and International. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to maintain, grow, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies to enhance customer engagement. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to negotiate effectively in a competitive landscape. Strong knowledge of the wine and spirits industry as well product knowledge is a must.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive market share.
- Manage and mentor, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee account management processes, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with key clients while maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on progress toward targets.
- Conduct training sessions for your customers on product and service knowledge
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management or a similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in account management practices, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Background in technical sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
