We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team and lead the growth of our partner network. If you are passionate about connecting businesses to their target audience and driving community engagement, we want to hear from you!
Job Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand our network of regional business partners and advertisers. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of sales, relationship building, and community-focused outreach.
**This position offers full-remote flexibility but does require candidates to live in (or near) the Huntsville AL area and be willing to commute to various areas within North Alabama region to meet with partners. Please only apply if you are willing and able to reside/commute within the Huntsville area.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Implement a comprehensive partnership development strategy to grow the partner portfolio and achieve key revenue growth targets.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with local businesses, understanding their needs and offering tailored advertising solutions.
- Community Analysis: Monitor local business launches, community events, and local trends to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Establish long-term partnerships with businesses that align with Welcome Home Huntsville’s mission and values.
- Revenue Accountability: Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report on progress against revenue goals.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to develop compelling advertising packages and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in advertising, publishing, or a related field.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of the Huntsville community and a passion for supporting local businesses.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and adapt sales strategies to market needs.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
