We are looking for an experienced Solar Sales Consultant to assist us with our growing operation. Must have or be able to get H.I.S. license. and have minimum 2 years experience in commercial solar experience.

Responsibilities

- Generate leads through various networks/book of business, responding to inbound and outbound calls, foster friendly relations with customers and vendors, and leave a positive impression with all clients and parties interacting with the company.
- Provide high-quality, competent, and efficient communications, including email correspondence, reports, draft proposals/agreements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales management and operations team to help keep clients updated on project status, delivering information to clients with tact.
- Field customer questions on an as-needed basis by serving as point of contact for the duration of a project and beyond, encouraging satisfied customers to provide referrals and write excellent reviews at projection completion.

Skills
- Aurora, EnergyToolBase, OpenSolar, Nearmaps, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Google Sketchup, Solar Array Layout tools, and/or Autocad are also a plus.

- Efficient: Ability to make 60+ calls per day involving various company activities.

- Command of verbal and written English: writing at a professional level is a requirement. Verbal communication and presentation skills must be top notch. Institutional clients including Fortune 500 companies are part of our client pool, and world-class engagement is expected in written, verbal, and in-person communications. a

- Deep experience handling contract questions and a proven track record of success in commercial and/or complex residential sales.

- Computer Literacy: High wpm typing for efficient email communications, familiarity with Social Media, Office Suite, Docusign, Aurora, project management or CRM tools a plus.

- Enthusiasm: Motivated and enthusiastic about work, with an ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and quickly address client concerns with little oversight.

- Coachability: Company culture encourages the sharing and swift application of bright ideas wherever they may come. This position requires an ability to give/take direction well.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $66,016.69 - $215,440.48 per year

Compensation package:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Outside sales: 1 year (Required)
  • Commercial Solar Sales: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • HIS License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
