Job Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is a highly rewarding position responsible for achieving annual revenue goals and influencing the company’s growth. This role will develop and foster relationships with key decision-makers at small/medium biotechnological, regenerative medicine, biotech and pharmaceutical companies with complementary development pipelines to secure business opportunities for OrganaBio. Equally important, this position offers the right candidate the opportunity to consult directly with clients to drive their cell and gene therapy programs to clinic faster.

Essential Functions:
- Must have Cell and Gene industry experience managing clients within that space.
- Manage a book of business within a territory for small to medium and large size customers.
- Own and execute sales plans for your assigned region
- Create a measurable territory business plan to meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Track, report, and analyze territory opportunities on a routine basis through the CRM system.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and penetrate existing business.
- Prospect for new opportunities and onboard new accounts.
- Draft quotes for clients within the region and record data within the CRM tool.
- Consult with clients to develop a strong understanding of their overall project plans/drug development phases.
- Cross-sell, up-sell, and work to deepen and broaden relationships with customer accounts.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of OrganaBio’s portfolio of RUO and GMP compliant products/services and their competitive positioning in the market.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry trends and landscapes to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders/customers.
- Develop sales solutions for clients’ project requirements and be able to communicate those solutions in convincing presentations.
- Work cross-functionally with other business units to maintain a culture of teamwork and maximize annual revenue.
- Work cross-functionally on demand planning and resource allocation, Hemacenter and Operations team.
- Travel to client meetings, vendor shows, and conferences to demonstrate products and capabilities.
Competencies:
- Strong sales experience is a must minimum of 5 years in cell and gene or total of 10+ in life sciences or bio sales
- Strong communication skills
- Prospecting experience and a hunter mentality
- Go getter, self-starter, motivated
- Good negotiation skills
- Results-driven managing a territory calling on all cell and gene clients with the region
- Already has a strong foundation and rolodex of clients within the state of California is a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of apheresis, birth tissue and birth-tissue-derived cellular products and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of blood products and manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the life sciences or related area.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience with the sourcing of cellular starting material. Proven sales track record in the relevant product line.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (SFDC, HubSpot).

- Ability to work flexible hours to meet business and/or customer needs.

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and listening skills.
- Other Physical Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel by car or plane, high frequency of computer keyboarding, high frequency of viewing a computer monitor.
Work Environment:
This position is Cambridge, Massachusetts base. Fully remote. Work from home with occasional site visits to Miami home office and weekly customer visits.
